📈 Community: Quick Stats

Our thriving Docker communities are growing!

Additionally, our Collabnix platforms are a hub for collaboration:

  • Kubetools is gaining traction on Twitter, close to reaching 9600+ family members.
  • Collabnix Slack is a vibrant hub for collaboration, with over 10100+ members.
  • Our Meetup community bumped up last month, crossing 3,360+ passionate members.

🗣️ Major Announcements this month:

For developers, the AI Catalog simplifies the process of integrating AI into applications by providing trusted and ready-to-use content supported by comprehensive documentation. This approach removes the hassle of evaluating numerous tools and configurations, allowing developers to focus on building innovative AI applications.

📆 Event Highlights of the month:

GovTech Singapore’s STACK Developer Conference is unlike any other developer event I’ve attended. It’s one of Singapore’s largest tech conferences and one of the few government-led developer events worldwide. This conference showcases Singapore’s digital capabilities and highlights the pivotal role of developers in Singapore’s journey toward becoming a digital government.

One of the standout features of Singapore’s digital government strategy is the Singapore Tech Stack—a set of reusable components that helps developers build applications quickly and efficiently. A great example is MyInfo, a secure service that allows residents to access and manage personal data and auto-fill forms. Thanks to the Tech Stack, MyInfo was developed in just four months. Another example is GovWallet, which provides a seamless experience for residents to access government payouts across different platforms.

Conducted a 3-hour Docker workshop for 40-folks who participated during the Day 0 of the Stack Developer Conference. It was well-received.

  • Docker DevTools: GenAI Meetup at AWS Office

This event marked a significant milestone for me as it was my first time conducting an event in Singapore. Having no prior knowledge of the local developer community or the AI landscape in the region, I was eager to dive in and connect with fellow tech enthusiasts.

Thanks to Amazon Web Services (AWS) for providing such a wonderful venue, we were able to host a highly engaging and interactive session. The event brought together developers and AI experts to explore the latest innovations in generative AI, Docker, and cloud technologies.

Devtron, Nokia, and Collabnix teamed up this Nov 23, 2024 to bring you an unforgettable gathering of cloud-native enthusiasts, technologists, and DevOps experts. Together, we deep dived into the latest trends, tools, and techniques shaping the future of cloud-native development and operations.

💡 Tips & Tricks:

🐳 Docker, Kubernetes and IoT:

🤖 AI/ML:

🔨 Featured Kubernetes Tools this month:

  • Kubectl-slice — Split multiple Kubernetes files into smaller files with ease.
  • Kubecui – Simple but still extremely powerful K9S alternative.
  • Krr – Prometheus-based Kubernetes Resource Recommendations
  • Kusion – Declarative Intent Driven Platform Orchestrator for Internal Developer Platform (IDP).
